Wake School Waiver and Release of Liability

Welcome to Wakesports Addiction. To ensure the safety of all participants and clarify legal responsibilities, please read the our waivers carefully. By boarding the boat, no matter if you are paid or non-paid, invited or non-invited, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of our waiver, also the outlined below:

  1. Acknowledgment of Risks:

    • Wake surfing (wake sports) is an activity that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, drowning, and collisions. By participating, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks.

  2. Health Condition Declaration:

    • Participants must confirm that they are in good health and physically fit to participate in wake surfing activities. Any health issues should be disclosed to the organizers before boarding.

  3. Release of Liability:

    • By boarding the boat, whether as a guest or a friend, you automatically agree to our waiver and release of liability.

    • You agree to waive any claims against the Wakesports Addiction, its employees, agents, or representatives for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred as a result of participating in wake surfing and wake sports activities.

  4. Compliance with Safety Regulations:

    • Participants must adhere to all safety regulations and follow the instructions of the instructors. Proper safety equipment must be worn at all times. The Wakesports Addiction is not responsible for any accidents resulting from non-compliance.

  5. Personal Property:

    • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. The Wakesports Addiction is not liable for any lost or damaged items.

  6. Emergency Situations:

    • In case of emergency, the Wakesports Addiction reserves the right to take necessary actions to ensure the safety of all participants, including but not limited to suspending activities and seeking medical assistance.

  7. Governing Law:

    • The waiver and this outline is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada.
